Uncle Ty

So, Haylee and I went to the hospital yesterday to spend the day with Mom and Tyler. As soon as I told Haylee we were going to see them, she got all ready and put her coat and shoes on. I told her we weren't leaving for a little while yet and she told me " I'm just getting ready for when I see Uncle Ty. Could you please do my hair? Uncle Ty has nice hair when I see him." How does she know this?! Anyway, we're at the hospital eating lunch with Mom. Mom had to go back and get some Ranch dressing for Haylee and she pushed all her food to the middle of the table and said, "I need to save this spot for Grandma, so that nobody steals her seat" oh my!! what a little mother we have! :)
We got home and Haylee was a little wound up after spending the whole day with Grandma and Uncle Ty, so she's flying around the living room doing dances and gymnastics. I have a metal chicken figure on a stand in my living room and she almost ran into it. She says "OH NO!!!! MOM!! I almost hatched a chicken!" I couldn't help it... it was soo funny! :)

Basketball Game!

So, today Mom and I went to Baby Boutique in Holland, since they're going out of business. Not so much a sale, yet, so if you're out that way in the next few weeks, make sure to check it out for me and let me know if the sales are getting any better!
Ben, Haylee, Mom and Dad B. and I went to Covenant's basketball game tonight. They won! Must be that I'm good luck! :) I haven't been to one of their games, or even stepped foot inside Covenant for 5 years!!! Haylee had tons of fun running around, Brylynn kept dissing her, but she kept going back for more ~ to be a kid again....... Haylee ate TONS of junk food, i.e. 2 bags of popcorn, jellybeans and 2 suckers... of course, I helped her with the popcorn, I couldn't let the good salt get away!

Chicken Baby

So this is my first blog, bear with me...
On Jan. 15, Ben and I told Haylee that I have a baby in my tummy. She was really excited and asked if it was a girl baby. I told her I didn't know. She proceeded to ask if it was a boy baby. I told her we didn't know what kind of baby it was. She looked a little confused and says in her squeaky voice, " Well, I can't hold a chicken!"
Needless to say, She now knows that the baby will be a person and that when people have babies, they have people babies and when animals have babies, they have animal babies.
Continuing on in our day, I had bowling today and bowled a 180!! Thanks to Leesa for letting me use her ball! Pretty sure it's the best I've ever bowled!
